Cancer Survival Toolbox®
Caring for the Caregiver was developed specifically to provide resources and support for cancer caregivers to help them address the issues they face on an ongoing basis.
As a caregiver, it is easy to be overwhelmed by caring for a cancer survivor. An important point to remember is that you, as a caregiver, are also a survivor because you, too, are surviving the challenges, responsibilities, and life-changing effects of this disease and its treatment. Throughout this program, you will hear stories taken from real life and solutions that can provide you with the hope and options you need, while showing you ways to balance your own personal needs with those of the person you are caring for.
After listening and downloading the Cancer Survival Toolbox® program, you will be better prepared to:

The NCCS Cancer Policy & Advocacy Team (CPAT) is a program for survivors and caregivers to learn about pressing policy issues that affect quality cancer care in order to be engaged as advocates in public policy around the needs of cancer survivors.
NCCS represents the millions of Americans who share a common experience – living with, through and beyond a cancer diagnosis. By sharing your story of how you have been touched by cancer, you are supporting the national cancer survivorship movement.
Together we can improve cancer care for survivors! Sign up to be the first to know about cancer policy issues and ways to take action

“Perhaps one of the most impactful collaborations in Dr. Brereton’s extraordinary career remains his early work and long friendship with Ellen Stovall. Through him, and in turn through the thousands of lives he has touched, Ellen’s work continues, and her mission lives on.”
