NCCS Joins 35+ National Organizations in Opposing Harmful Medicaid Cuts
The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS) proudly joined more than 35 national patient advocacy organizations in signing a joint letter urging Congress to reject devastating cuts to Medicaid proposed in the FY25 budget reconciliation package. The letter, coordinated by the Partnership to Protect Coverage (PPC), highlights how these cuts would jeopardize access to life-saving care for millions of Americans, including cancer survivors, children, people with disabilities, and seniors. Citing real stories from patients whose lives depend on Medicaid, the letter emphasizes that slashing funding will worsen health disparities and threaten lives. The signatories call on Congress to uphold its commitment to protecting vulnerable populations.
