Event Information

The CPAT Symposium is an opportunity to network with other advocates, develop advocacy skills, and learn about cancer policy issues — all in support of NCCS’s mission of improving the quality of cancer care for everyone touched by cancer. Goals for symposium participants are as follows:

  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of public policies impacting cancer patients and how to be a voice for policies that ensure survivors’ needs are at the center of every phase of cancer care delivery.
  • Showcase topics including mental health, communication, integrated oncology, and health equity.
  • Participate in advocate-led training with CUPID (Cancer in the Under-Privileged Indigent or Disadvantaged) medical students.
  • Facilitate advocates’ networking and ongoing engagement with NCCS.

There is limited event capacity and registration will close when we reach capacity.
This will not be a hybrid event and programming will only be available to those that attend.

The $100 registration fee includes most meals, programming, and entertainment on the evening of June 23rd.

COVID-19 Policy

In-person attendees must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination. NCCS follows CDC masking guidelines and local laws and ordinances. Masking is encouraged and extra masks will be available at the Symposium.
