ASCO calls for abstracts for 2012 annual meeting
The American Society of Clinical Oncology 2012 Scientific Program Committee has announced that abstracts are now being accepted for the 2012 ASCO Annual Meeting, to be held June 1-5, 2012, at McCormick Place, Chicago, Ill.
The 2012 Meeting’s theme of “Collaborating to Conquer Cancer” will provide attendees an opportunity to discuss:
Real-time electronic health records and the potential to positively impact patient outcomes
The vital role that each member of a multidisciplinary team plays
How collaboration from the onset can positively impact clinical trials
The 40 years of progress made towards finding a cure for cancer, and implications for future research
With over 30,000 attendees, the ASCO Annual Meeting is the one of the largest educational and scientific events in the oncology community and provides an ideal venue for physicians and scientists to present research results to a global audience of oncology professionals. We encourage you to make your contribution to the world’s premier oncology event by submitting your original research abstract today.
The abstract submission deadline is Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11:59 PM (EST). Presentation of your abstract at another recent co-sponsored ASCO Symposium does not preclude your submission of the same abstract to the 2012 Annual Meeting. In fact, this provides an opportunity to present your updated data to a significantly larger audience.
