NCCS Endorses Bipartisan ROCR Act to Reform Medicare Payments for Radiation Therapy

In a united appeal, NCCS joined more than 100 organizations in endorsing the Radiation Oncology Case Rate (ROCR) Act of 2025 to reform Medicare’s payment system for radiation therapy. This bipartisan bill aims to improve patient access, reduce disparities for rural communities, and enhance cancer treatment quality while saving Medicare $200 million over 10 years.

The letter emphasizes the need for fair reimbursement policies to sustain innovative cancer care and protect patients from the consequences of escalating costs and health care consolidation.
